Nicolette Freeman is a senior lecturer in film and television production, and undergraduate studies convenor, at the University of Melbourne, Faculty of the Victorian College of the Arts and Music. She has bachelor degrees from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (Major in Cinematography) and the University of Technology Sydney.
Nicolette has cinematography credits on short and feature drama and documentary productions, as well as numerous credits as director, writer and producer on documentaries.
Nicolette has recently submitted a documentary film entitled How the World is Made for examination in the Master of Film and Television (by Research) degree at University of Melbourne. Her area of research was the use of poetic form in documentary.
