Stuart Bender

Stuart Bender received his PhD from Murdoch University for the thesis Film Style and the World War II Combat Film which was an analysis of the stylistic techniques used in WW2 combat films, made during the 1940s and those post-Saving Private Ryan 2000s.

Bender is also a director and visual effects supervisor of action films. His recent short film The Argentinian Escape has been nominated for the awards of “Best Breakout Action Star” (Stuart Bender) and “Best Composition” (Sam Cutri) at the 2012 Action On Film Festival in California, with his film Double Cross (2011) nominated for “Best in Show” award at the 2011 Action On Film Festival.
